The simple rules for using ReliveFilm.

Eligibility

You must be an adult (18+) and a family member or authorized by the family to create a memory of another person.

Acceptable use

Memories are for remembrance and celebration. You may not use the service to deceive, defame, or create sexual, violent, or minor-involving content.

Portrait & likeness authorization

You confirm you own the rights to the photo and are authorized to use the subject's likeness, including for memorial tributes.

AI-generated content

All videos are AI-generated. You agree they will be labeled as such and will not be presented as authentic footage.

Voice cloning

Voice recreation requires your explicit consent and a provided sample. We are not liable for misuse after delivery.

North America Portrait & Publicity Rights

Our service is offered primarily to customers in the United States and Canada. In North America, a person's name, photograph, voice, and likeness are protected by personality and publicity-rights laws. By placing an order you confirm that:

  • You own, or have the legal right to use, the photo(s) you submit.
  • You have obtained consent from the subject — or, for a deceased loved one, from the authorized family member or estate — to create and receive a memory film using their likeness.
  • For any subject who is a minor, you are their parent or legal guardian.

We may request proof of authorization before producing a film of a deceased person. You are solely responsible for securing all necessary rights and releases. ReliveFilm is not liable for any claim arising from your failure to obtain them. This service is for personal remembrance only and does not grant any commercial usage rights.

4. Revision Rules

We distinguish between minor revisions and full re-generation.

Minor revision: Adjust subtitles, script wording, color tone or background music. No new AI video generation.

Full re-generation: Recreate the entire video via AI, including photo replacement or major script rewrite, charged separately.

Free minor revisions are limited to the amount included in your package.

Snapshot minor edits: $5 per round; Keepsake / Signature / Legacy minor edits: $10 per round.

Full re-generation fee: $9.90 for Snapshot; $20 for all higher tiers.

5. Video Duration & Aspect Ratio

Taster, Snapshot and Keepsake: 10s / 20s, 9:16 vertical only.

Signature and Legacy: 40s, includes both 9:16 vertical and 16:9 horizontal video files.
